Messages that seem “too good to be true,” though polished, should raise red flags.

With the rise of deepfake technology, end users should also be trained to identify the telltale signs of video or voice manipulation, such as unnatural facial movements, audio lag, or inconsistencies in visual details.

To mitigate AI-powered social engineering attacks, businesses must deploy both technical and non-technical strategies. One effective method is implementing AI-powered threat detection systems. These systems can detect anomalies in communication patterns, network traffic, and user behavior, making it easier to identify and stop AI-generated phishing campaigns or compromised user accounts.
